Gallery Furniture launches #85 and it's Free furniture sale

SPRING, Texas -- The heir apparent to P.T. Barnum has come up with another amazing attraction. Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, the owner and salesman extraordinaire of Gallery Furniture, will give customers who spend $7,000 or more, their money back if the price of West Texas Intermediate Crude tops $85 per barrel at year's end. That's right, “Mattress Mack” will give you back 100% of your purchase amount if oil prices exceeds $85/barrel.

To stimulate an economy that is contingent on the price of oil, Gallery Furniture has come up with another one of their unique sales campaigns, as if anything could top their 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII campaign, promising customers a full refund on any purchase of more than $6,000 if the Seattle Seahawks, selected as the team of choice by a coin toss, won the Super Bowl. So many customers took advantage of the offer in the weeks leading up to the game, that Gallery Furniture refunded an estimated $7,000,000 from furniture purchases.

This year’s promotion will be a win-win if the price of oil goes up. The customer’s will win, and so will the economy, but Gallery Furniture feels it will be a win for them too.
