MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCTXSheriff) is pleased to announce the implementation of GovQA software, a cutting-edge solution designed to streamline and enhance the public records request process.

Effective July 8, 2024, GovQA's cloud-based platform will enable the MCTXSheriff to efficiently manage and process public records requests from citizens and the media, including electronic documents, videos, and audio files. As the volume and complexity of requests continue to grow, GovQA's secure and configurable platform provides the scalability and flexibility needed to meet the MCTXSheriff’s evolving needs.

The new system offers a centralized and secure public records portal, allowing residents to easily submit and track their requests online. It also streamlines workflows for MCTXSheriff employees, ensuring timely responses and improved accuracy. Self-service tools and automated features empower citizens to access information proactively, fostering greater transparency and trust.
