Enter the Woodlands Township's National Night Out Poster Contest

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township invites residents of all ages to participate in the National Night Out poster contest, celebrating 40 years of the Neighborhood Watch program. Entries can be submitted at The Woodlands Township office, located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., 77381, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2024, by 5 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to create posters that illustrate the theme “Giving Crime a Going-Away Party” in The Woodlands. Submission dates are from July 10 through July 31, 2024. Judging will take place on August 2, 2024, with awards announced on August 5, 2024. Please view the National Night Out Poster Contest Rules and Entry Form for complete details.

The top three posters in each category will be displayed at the National Night Out Packet Pick-Up Day on September 26, 2024. The contest features five award categories to include residents of all ages:

• 7 years & younger
• 8 to 12 years
• 13 to 18 years
• 19 to 64 years
• 65 & older

Submissions will be judged based on creativity and originality, interpretation of the theme, quality and overall impression of the design. All entries must be original work. While all paper types are accepted, computer-generated images are not allowed. Each entry must include the artist's name, age and parent/guardian contact details if the artist is under 18 years of age (name, email address and phone number) printed on the back of the artwork.
