The Woodlands Township Board of Directors makes a special proclamation for Farmers Market Week

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At the July 24 meeting of its board of directors, The Woodlands Township issued a proclamation for National Farmers Market Week August 3-10, recognizing The Woodlands Farmers Market for their contribution to the community.

The Woodlands Farmers Market, also known as the Grogan's Mill Farmers Market, takes place most Saturday mornings at the Grogan's Mill Shopping Center. The plans for the upgrades and renovation to the center include a special sectioned-off area for the market so that it can continue. Proceeds raised from the market go to scholarships for student residents of Grogan's Mill Village Association.
