MAGNOLIA, TX -- Inspiration Ranch is grateful for the support shown at the recently held Denim and Diamonds Gala on September, 14th. This year, Inspiration Ranch, honored both Ovintiv and Cathy and Ken Lawrence for their outstanding commitment to Inspiration Ranch. Attendees were treated to powerful testimonials from 11-year-old client Dylan Crews and parent Christy Tracy.

“Year after year we are humbled by the support shown from the gala attendees and companies that join us from Montgomery and Harris counties”, MG Tindall, President and CEO said. Attendance for this year’s Denim and Diamonds Gala exceeded 470 guests. With another 150 guests attending the first-ever afterparty aptly named “Outlaw Saloon Afterparty.” The After Party had a bull-riding ring, dancing, corn hole and a smoked whisky bar. According to Tindall, the September 14th gala raised more than $650,000 for the charity.

The Denim and Diamond gala provided an interactive environment for its guests that proved to be both relaxing and casual. This highly sought-after event allowed gala guests to pull on their favorite blue jeans and slip into cowboy boots and fit right in. From the moment they walk through the gala doors, there are many ways guests could show their support. For an hour and a half guests enjoyed a complimentary cocktail while visiting the Silent Auction, Wine Pull, Bourbon Pull, General Store, Adopt-A-Horse, Live Auction preview, Doodle Art and Photo Booth…and that was just the start of the evening. The Bourbon Pull was an especially big hit and was sold out in the first 30 minutes.

“Gala proceeds are vital to the growth and sustainability of Inspiration Ranch’s programs,” per Melissa Jurik, VP of Development. “The Denim and Diamonds Gala helps to bridge the gap in scholarship funding for our parents and families”, Jurik said. “Most people don’t realize that 100% of our 100 riders, each week, rely on scholarships to offset their cost for their weekly therapeutic riding sessions,” she said, “gala proceeds ensure that we can continue to extend the $50 per therapeutic riding session cost vs the actual cost of $240 per session.” Jurik also shared “The reality is nearly 40% of our families are so burdened with out-of-pocket medical bills and therapy expenses that the $50 session cost is still out of reach. Inspiration Ranch proudly has a mandate that cost is never a barrier to receiving treatment.”

Notable guests included Carol and Mike Watford, Danny and Meghan Eilers, Casey Kosh, Jonathan and Amy Homeyer, George Lindahl, Darrell and Andrea Chambliss, Michelle and Jim Little, Tina Kosh-Goodson and Brandon Goodson, Elijah White and Dr. Diana Wandix-White, Jacque and Lloyd Everson, and Alison and Hilton Yee.
