THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Meet Jayden Hernandez, the first baby of 2025 born at a St. Luke's Health hospital in Greater Houston. Arriving at 4:37 a.m. on January 1 at St. Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital, the baby boy weighed in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and measured 20 1/4 inches long. Mom and dad, Marcely Garcia Ruz and Efron Hernandez, are from the New Orleans area and were in town visiting family to celebrate the New Year when their first child decided to make his entrance. Everyone is doing well!
