Opportunities Await Job Seekers, Employers at 13th Annual Conroe Job Fair

CONROE, TX -- The 13th Annual Conroe Job Fair presented by the Conroe Economic Development Council (Conroe EDC) and the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber will be held Tuesday, January 28 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe. At the event co-sponsored by Crown Brand-Building Packaging and ResourceMFG, job seekers will receive an opportunity to meet face-to-face with more than 50 local businesses seeking to hire qualified team members in fields like hospitality, education, human resources, machinery, skilled labor, nursing, accounting and many more. Attendance is free to those seeking a new career.

“From entry level to executive positions, the Conroe job fair takes immense pride in providing an easily navigable pathway for members of our local workforce to land their next opportunity,” said Jennifer Matthews, Associate Director of the Conroe EDC. “As the economy continues to grow, our business community is excited to showcase more excellent openings spanning the diverse spectrum of industries in Conroe.”

209 Photo Booth Company will be offering free headshots at the job fair. Additionally, attendees will be able to apply to win a scholarship from Lone Star College upon check-in at the job fair. The scholarships can be used to learn additional career skills or to enhance current skills needed to find a job.

The 2024 Conroe Job Fair welcomed more than 600 individuals pursuing their next job to discover and apply for hundreds of roles available from nearly 50 hiring companies. Numerous matches were made between employers and job seekers.
