BREAKING: The Woodlands Fire Department reports two connected auto accidents

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- According to their official social media, at approximately 8 o'clock this morning, The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District were dispatched to a vehicle collision with possible entrapment at Lake Front and Grogans Mill.

Medic 25 and Engine 101 arrived and reported two vehicles with major damage but no entrapment. While Medics evaluated the two drivers, firefighters worked to secure the area as the collision had dislodged a light pole that was knocked off its base.

One person was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. As crews worked the scene there was a second collision (likely caused by driver inattention) occupants of those vehicles were not injured. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating both incidents.
