THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township has been awarded Second Place in Category #2 (Populations 100,000 to 300,000) by the National Association of Town Watch for its outstanding 2024 National Night Out Campaign. This prestigious recognition highlights the Township’s commitment to public safety and community engagement.

Neighborhood Services of The Woodlands Township spearheaded the campaign, earning top honors for its innovative programming and the enthusiastic participation of Township residents and public safety agencies.

Through National Night Out, The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services team supports residents in hosting community gatherings, public safety open houses, and crime prevention initiatives, while also providing ongoing safety resources to the community.

The Woodlands Township extends its gratitude to the many dedicated partners who contributed to this year’s success, including:

For over 40 years, The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch has been a leader in award-winning crime prevention programming, fostering strong community partnerships and promoting public safety in all neighborhoods across The Woodlands. Residents and businesses play a vital role in community policing efforts, and getting involved is simple. Through education, organization and celebration, neighbors can actively contribute to a safer community.
