The Woodlands Township Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Banner Giveaway

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- In celebration of The Woodlands Township's 50th Anniversary, approximately 125 commemorative banners were displayed on streetlight poles throughout the community. As the Township marks this milestone, these retired banners are now being made available to residents as keepsakes.

Residents may pick up a banner between January 28, 2025, and February 7, 2025, at the Parks and Recreation Department Campus, located at 2801 Millennium Forest Blvd.

• Dates: Monday, January 28, through Friday, February 7, 2025
• Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Location: Parks and Recreation Department Campus, 2801 Millennium Forest Blvd.
• Guidelines:
  • Banners will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Limit of one banner per person.
  • Retired banners are offered as-is, where-is, with no reservations or holds available.

This giveaway provides a unique opportunity for residents to own a piece of The Woodlands’ history as the community celebrates five decades of growth, achievement, and togetherness.
