Parati Rowing Kicks Off Sprint Season at Sweat

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Parati Rowing got an early start to the sprint season with a strong showing at the Southwest Ergometer Amateur Tournament (SWEAT), held at Jesuit College Prep in Dallas on February 8. Twenty-nine Parati athletes competed in 12 events, earning five gold and three bronze medals.

Gold Medalists:

• Nellie Coleman
• Lily Harrell
• Jay Kirk
• Clare McKenna

Bronze Medalists:
• Gia Longo
• JP Ramirez
• Tim Reinhart

Additionally, Coach Jacob, while not in peak form, secured a gold medal in his category.

SWEAT served as a tune-up for the spring season. Up next, the team will travel to Austin for the Heart of Texas Regatta on February 22-23. Catch Parati in action again on March 29 during a scrimmage at Lake Woodlands.
