Spicy Tails Art Sale March 8, 2025

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township launches new art, crawfish and music celebration!

The Woodlands Township has created Spicy Tails Art Sale, a new event for residents and visitors to enjoy work by local artists, Zydeco music, a youth art contest, children’s activities, food trucks and a crawfish cook-off on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Town Green Park, located at 2099 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380.

Youth Art Contest
Young artists are invited to create their own masterpieces and enter them in the Youth Art Contest, open to youth of all ages! Submissions will be on display at the event and first, second and third place winners from each category will be recognized on stage during the festival. This year's theme is "Favorite Event in The Woodlands." Submissions will be accepted through Monday, March 3, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Those interested can learn more and download the 2025 Youth Art Contest entry form.

Crawfish Cook-Off
Think you have the best boiled crawfish in town? Put your skills to the test and enter your cooking team into the Spicy Tails Art Sale Crawfish Cook-Off! Teams will be awarded for People's and Judge's Choice Best Crawfish, Best Decorated Tent and Best Cajun Dish (optional). Teams will have free samples for spectators to vote on, while supplies last. Learn more and fill out the 2025 Crawfish Cook-Off application before Friday, February 28, 2025.

Support Local Artists
Explore a variety of art vendors featuring original artwork, handcrafted items and unique pieces available for purchase. Whether you're looking for a special piece to take home or just want to appreciate the local talent, this is the perfect opportunity to support local artists. Artists interested in selling their work at the event can learn more and complete the 2025 Art Vendor application before Friday, February 28, 2025.

Event Schedule
2 p.m. - Live Music by Marcus Ardoin and Da Zydeco Legendz
3:30 p.m. - Youth Art Contest Awards
3:45 p.m. - Live Music by Marcus Ardoin and Da Zydeco Legendz
5:45 p.m. - Crawfish Cook-Off Awards

Concessions will be available onsite for purchase, and Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
