The year steamrolls along; Halloween this week, Election Day next week… and looming on the horizon the end-of-year holiday season. Here are some cream-of-the-crop events we’ve got our eye on this week.

Boogie Bash at The Woodlands Children’s Museum today at 11 a.m., presents Halloween Hop. They’re celebrating Halloween with kid-friendly fingerplays, songs, and creative movement activities. The fun is included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older.

Get your license to carry at Copendero Indoor Archery, Pistol, and RIfle Range! This is a state-mandatory course for anyone looking to get licensed. In this course, you will learn about Texas laws in regards to carrying a handgun, reciprocal states, mindset and situational awareness, use of force, and much more! You must be familiar with the use of the handgun and be proficient with your handgun. Failing to do so may result in a disqualification during the shooting test that is required in order to receive your license. You must be a Texas resident and 21 years or older. Valid ID is required.

At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night in Montgomery County, participants come together as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those affected by blood cancers. Friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors unite to shine a light in the darkness of cancer. The funds raised by this event support lifesaving research, advocacy, and vital assistance for blood cancer patients and their families.
