Sheriff’s Office Statement on the Arrest and Resignation of Deputy Landon Slatter

Detectives with the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office, assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children (I.C.A.C.) Task Force launched a criminal investigation into allegations of sexual assault of a child involving 42-year-old Deputy Landon Slatter, a 15-year employee of the Sheriff’s Office. Based on the investigation, Detectives developed probable cause and obtained an arrest warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child.

Earlier today, Landon Slatter was arrested at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, located at 1 Criminal Justice Drive, Conroe, Texas. Following his arrest, he immediately resigned from employment and was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
