We’re going to go through much of this Spring Break week in summerlike weather. We’ve already put out a list of camps for the kiddos, as well as our comprehensive Spring Break Guide, so for this particular list we’ll concentrate on grown-up fun and events.

Ale & Ivy presents Industry Night, a special set-up so others in the service and restaurant industries can still enjoy receiving the same type of service they give. Ale & Ivy has special hours and discounts, as well as free karaoke.

Veterans and first responders often face unique challenges stemming from their service, including stress, trauma, and the transition to civilian life. To offer support, camaraderie, and a safe space for open discussion, a Peer Support Group meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Tomball VFW in Tomball. This group provides an opportunity for veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders to connect with others who understand their experiences. The meetings are designed to foster emotional support, shared experiences, and mental well-being in a welcoming environment.

Come join The Woodlands Township’s women’s basketball team that seeks to promote a spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and friendly competition. It provides a fun, competitive and safe playing environment for women over the age of 55. This team is part of a national Granny Basketball League. The fee is only $3, happening at the Bear Branch Rec Center.
