The Signorelli Company Names Greg Wattson as Senior Vice President of Commercial Development

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS — The Signorelli Company, one of the largest privately held real estate development companies in Texas, announces today that Greg Wattson has joined as Senior Vice President of Commercial Development. In his new role, Wattson will play an integral part in the strategic direction and execution of The Signorelli Company’s rapidly expanding commercial real estate portfolio. He will work closely with the executive leadership team to maximize current projects and identify new opportunities for the company’s mixed-use developments across Greater Houston. With a career spanning more than 30 years, Wattson has developed and launched over 10 million square feet of residential, office and retail development throughout the United States.

Wattson joins The Signorelli Company at an exciting time as the developer recently announced several new projects, including The Marketplace at Valley Ranch, situated at Grand Parkway and I-69 in Montgomery County. This 188-acre district is slated to begin construction next year, and will feature 850,000 square feet of retail space, designed as an upscale, curated shopping and lifestyle destination. The construction of a new 210,000 square-foot convention center within the Valley Ranch Entertainment District is also underway, which creates new opportunities for hospitality, retail and entertainment uses.
The Signorelli Company continues to advance Austin Point, a 4,700-acre regionally transformative, satellite city in Fort Bend County. Located at the future intersection of Fort Bend Parkway and Grand Parkway, along with 14,000 residences, Austin Point’s master plan includes a series of integrated districts with more than 17 million square feet of office, medical, retail, hospitality and multifamily uses. Construction of Austin Point is underway, with the first homes scheduled to be available for purchase in Summer 2025.
Prior to joining The Signorelli Company, Wattson served as Senior Managing Director and Partner at OliverMcMillan, where he led site acquisition, project design and development management. He spent 18 years at as Senior Vice President with Wattson-Breevast, LLC where he managed all disciplines of acquisitions and development plans for retail, office and industrial projects. Throughout his career, Wattson has successfully managed the development and re-development of a variety of high-profile mixed-use developments including River Oaks District, Shops at Tanforan, Shoppes at Chino Hills and The Shops at Buckhead Atlanta.
Wattson is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Finance.
