The Woodlands Township announces the spring Concert-in-the-Park series

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (February 24, 2014) – With the arrival of spring also comes The Woodlands Township’s Concert-in-the-Park series, presented by Munday Chevrolet. The spring concert series runs every Sunday evening between March 2 and April 13, 2014, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive.

The 2014 spring schedule is as follows:

• March 2, 2014: Quiet Company (Pop/Rock)

• March 9, 2014: Buck Yeager Band (Country)

• March 16, 2014: Yelba (Variety-Latin Band)

• March 23, 2014: Easy Money Band (Variety)

• March 30, 2014: Swing Thing (Country Swing)

• April 6, 2014: The Fab 5 (British Invasion)

• April 13, 2014: Vocal Trash (Earth Friendly)

In addition to the musical entertainment, residents of all ages can participate in family activities while enjoying the concert. Activities will consist of painting, the fourth annual sandcastle building contest, and much more!

Most activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Northshore Park:

• March 2, 2014: Family Picnic Party

• March 9, 2014: Spring Break Spectacular

• March 16, 2014: Green Game Day

• March 23, 2014: Paint in the Park

• March 30, 2014: 4th Annual Family Sandcastle Building Contest

• *April 6, 2014: EXTRA LARGE Egg Hunt*begins promptly at 5 p.m.

• April 13, 2014: Bicycle Bash

Bring a blanket, picnic dinner and lawn chairs to enjoy leisure time with your family! Northshore Park offers plenty of lawn space for tossing balls and Frisbees®, a large playground, two sand volleyball courts and pathways. All bands are family-friendly, and admission is free.
