Milstead Automotive DUI Prevention Towing Program

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Milstead Automotive wants to show our community how important their safety means to us. With this program we are also thinking about our police officers and their safety.

Milstead Towing & Recovery, a division of Milstead Automotive Group, has introduced this DUI Prevention Program created to provide people under the influence of alcohol with an alternative to get themselves, their friends, and their vehicle home safely.

Milstead DUI prevention program was recently endorsed by Assistant District Attorney and Vehicular Crimes Chief Brittany Hansford who said, “During this time of year, we want you to celebrate, but we also want you to make it home safe. We encourage you to use Milstead's Prevention Program if you have been drinking to avoid an arrest for driving while intoxicated, or worse, ending your life or somebody else's. Everyone should make it home for the holidays.'

'We answer a lot of calls regarding wrecks caused by drunk drivers who have had too much to drink, and the scene is usually devastating to not only the victim but the driver and their families,' said Amy Milstead, Milstead Automotive President. Our DUI program will hopefully make people under the influence think twice about the consequences, and know that they have an easy alternative to get home. We also hope that restaurants and bars will have Milstead on speed dial so that we can help their patrons avoid a horrible situation.'
