THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Residents and visitors alike are invited to honor and recognize the military men and women who have served our nation at the Veterans Day Tribute on Saturday, November 11, 2023, starting at 3 p.m., at its new location in Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380.

"The spirit of service and sacrifice unites us all,” said Chairman Dr. Ann K. Snyder. “This Veterans Day, be part of a memorable event in The Woodlands as we salute our veterans. Let's gather to honor their commitment to protecting our freedom and ensuring a better tomorrow for all."

This year’s event will feature live music, speakers, children’s activities and a new “My Hero Art Exhibit” where participants are invited to create an original masterpiece to display at the event. The exhibit will provide an opportunity for residents to honor their very own military hero. To enter artwork in the display, please view or download the entry form. Entries are due to The Woodlands Township by Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 5 p.m.

The keynote speaker will be Lt. Colonel Rais Sanchez (U.S. Army), and the live music will be performed by Time Warp. Residents may also make donations to a special military Care Package Drop-Off Booth. Please view or download the list of recommended Care Package items to be shipped to the troops.
