Believe it or not, it looks like the brunt of the storms and rains are behind us this week, with sunny skies predicted all week long with temps in the mid 90s. Perfect for hitting some events throughout The Woodlands! Here’s our weekly list.

Wednesday, July 31
Crazy About Critters hosts The Learning Zoo today at 11:00 a.m. at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. Laugh, learn, and get hands-on during an educational animal encounter on stage. This event is included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older.

Thursday, August 1
Experience Hughes Landing on scenic Lake Woodlands with live music this evening. Rock the Row features local and regional bands playing a variety of favorites from pop and rock to country during the spring, summer and fall. Tonight, have a blast to the tunes from Girl Can't Help It, A Journey Tribute by Tracy Perez. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. All entertainment is weather-dependent and subject to change.

Get your license to carry at Copendero Indoor Archery, Rifle, and Pistol Range. This is a state-mandatory course for anyone looking to get licensed. In this course, you will learn about Texas laws in regards to carrying a handgun, reciprocal states, mindset and situational awareness, use of force, and much more. You must be familiar with the use of the handgun and be proficient with your handgun. Failing to do so may result in a disqualification during the shooting test that is required in order to receive your license. You must be a Texas resident and 21 years or older. Valid ID is required.
