Tuesday, August 13
Boogie Bash presents ‘Summer Dance Party at The Woodlands Children’s Museum today starting at 11 a.m. Children are invited to enjoy dancing and grooving to various music. They will be introduced to some of Miss Jan’s favorite and ‘ancient’ dance styles including The Monkey, The Funky Chicken, and The Twist, and will also learn how to do The Limbo Rock. Boogie Bash is included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older.

Thursday, August 15
It’s the last Rock the Row of the Summer Series, and tonight Nick and The Hits will provide variety tunes from 7 - 9:00 p.m. Experience Hughes Landing on scenic Lake Woodlands with live music featuring local and regional bands playing a variety of favorites from pop and rock to country during the spring, summer and fall. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.

It’s time for The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Casino Royale Chairman’s Ball at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. This themed event honors the outgoing chairman of the board and welcomes the incoming chairman. Guests can expect an exceptional three-course meal and an exciting evening of dancing and entertainment. This year’s ball will honor outgoing Chairman Brian Albert of Kean Miller LLP and welcome new Chairman, Ann Wolford of The Wolford Group. The theme of this year’s ball is based on the James Bond movie Casino Royale, and will feature dinner, dancing and casino games.
