Sheriff Arrests Two Suspects in Market Street Theft in The Woodlands
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On December 6, 2024, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 6 Patrol Division responded to a theft call on Market Street in The Woodlands. During the investigation, Deputies were given a description of the suspects and their vehicle, but were not initially able to locate the suspects.
On December 9, 2024, Deputies from the Montgomery County Crime Reduction Unit successfully located the suspects and recovered stolen property valued at approximately $42,000. It is believed the stolen items were taken from retail centers in Montgomery and Harris counties.
The suspects have been identified as 48-year-old Vladimir Vanegas Bolanos and 41-year-old Luz Johanna Usuga Garcia, both from Columbia. Bolanos and Garcia have been transported to the Montgomery County Jail and have been charged with Felony Theft.
While the suspects are in custody, detectives continue to work to ensure the stolen merchandise is returned to its rightful retail owners. Anyone with information about the case is urged to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 936-760-5800, option 3, and reference case #24A339493.
