SPRING, TX -- UPDATE:As of January 31, 2025, detectives from Constable Ryan Gables have thoroughly pursued all available leads and information related to this investigation. Currently, there is insufficient evidence to warrant the filing of criminal charges in this matter. Consequently, this case has been inactivated.

The Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable’s Office encourages anyone with relevant information about this investigation to contact 281-364-4211 and request to speak with a detective.

On January 16, 2025, around 9:30 PM, deputies from Constable Ryan Gable's patrol responded to a report about two missing students from York Junior High School, who were located at 28325 Birnham Woods Dr. Upon their arrival, the deputies confirmed that both juveniles were safe and unharmed. As a precautionary measure and for investigative purposes, they received medical attention. Initial inquiries revealed that the juveniles may have entered an unidentified white van driven by two males wearing masks. This information has yet to be verified. Detectives are currently employing investigative resources to identify the van and its occupants. The case remains active and is under investigation by Constable Gable's Criminal Investigations Division. At this point, the Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable's Office has no additional information suggesting a threat to public safety related to this incident. The Conroe ISD Police Department has also been notified, and collaboration is ongoing.
