Best of The Woodlands Award 2025

HTX Soccer is very proud to announce for the sixth year running we are voted #1 in the category of 'Best Elite Clubs & Youth Sports' in The Woodlands. For sixteen years now, thousands of businesses have been up for a coveted local recognition: the annual Woodlands Online ‘Best of The Woodlands’ awards. The 2025 competition, which took place starting February 1 and ended this past Friday, had tens of thousands of votes cast for hundreds of businesses in more than 100 categories over sixteen types of business.

Each February, the Woodlands area community is invited to vote for their favorite businesses and organizations in multiple categories, including automotive, dining, education, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, home decor & improvement, real estate, retail, and more, with dozens of subcategories to select from.

“It is an absolute honor yet again to be recognized as the Best Elite Clubs & Youth Sports for the last six years in a row” said Phil Ebner, Grassroots Director. “We love serving our local community of The Woodlands, and this recognition is truly a testament to the dedication of the entire HTX staff and volunteers that work tremendously hard throughout the year to provide a stellar environment for these children to complete, play, and learn the valuable life lessons that only team sports can provide."

"HTX Soccer has partnered with The Woodlands Township for the last 25+ years offering first class youth soccer opportunities for our local residents," said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations.  The Woodlands Township Board fully appreciate and understand the importance of youth sports in the local community.  We look forward to continuing to provide a professional service to our HTX families and are extremely proud to have won this award for all six years in a row."

The club currently offers a Woodlands Recreational Program for the ages of 4-18, hosts elite program weekend games for the top leagues in the country along with entertaining national level soccer tournaments.  All three of the above areas continue to bring huge economic impact to the local community.
