Gymnastics: Liza Grebenkova Elevates Local Gymnastics By Claiming Nastia Liukin Cup’s Junior Championship

SPRING, TX -- Liza Grebenkova adds Junior Champion of the Nastia Liukin Cup to her list of accomplishments, boosting the prestige of The Woodlands’ gymnastics scene.

Since 2009, the Nastia Liukin Cup has been a catalyst in preparing hopeful gymnasts for their opportunities to become Junior Olympians. But even before attending the main event, a rigorous series of invitationals separates the hopefuls from the eventuals, with Grebenkova making the cut.

The trip to Louisville, Kentucky may have phased some, but not the determined AIM Athletics veteran. 

With her father and mother, Georgy Grebenkov and Lyudmila Yezhova-Grebenkova, respectively, being former Russian Olympians, Liza had plenty of tested experience to rely on. 

This immense experience worked perfectly with her dedicated training and coaching from AIM Athletics to create the perfect athlete for the right moment. 

When the dust finally settled, Liza Grebenkova was crowned the Junior Champion of one of the country's most respected competitions.

The talented gymnast's next steps are wide open, and she will surely look forward to whatever comes her way.
