The Woodlands Township to host inaugural Founders Cup Tennis Tournament

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township will host The Founders Cup, a doubles tennis tournament celebrating our community's rich heritage and passion for tennis. The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, 2024, at various Township tennis courts.

The Founders Cup invites participants aged 18 and older to form teams of six players, consisting of three doubles pairings, to compete in a series of round-robin matches. Matches will be held across 70+ courts throughout The Woodlands, concluding in the semi-finals and finals at the Bear Branch Park Tennis Complex, 5200 Research Forest Drive, 77381. Registration is now open.

This exciting community-wide event is open to all skill levels, ensuring every team will play at least five pro-set matches. The Founders Cup is an excellent opportunity for tennis enthusiasts to engage in friendly competition and celebrate the enduring legacy of our community.

• $55 for residents; $65 for non-residents until July 31, 2024
• $65 for residents; $75 for non-residents from August 1, 2024, until sold out
