THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Montgomery County Food Bank has issued an appeal to those who are able to help those who have been negatively impacted by Hurricane Beryl, especially when it comes to their food security.

"In the wake of Hurricane Beryl, our community faces unprecedented challenges. Families have been displaced, homes damaged, groceries spoiled due to widespread power outages, and essential resources are scarce. At Montgomery County Food Bank, we are committed to providing critical relief to those affected, but we cannot do it alone," said Kristine Marlow, president and CEO of the Food Bank.

She states that the support of our community is more vital than ever. There are several options for you to be able to help:

  • Donate: The Food Bank's most urgent need is financial support. Your donation will help them acquire and distribute essential food and water to neighbors.
  • Volunteer: They need hands-on assistance to sort and package food for distribution to affected neighbors.
  • Spread the Word: Share the Food Bank's mission with your friends, family, and social networks.
  • If you or someone you know were affected by the storm and need food assistance, visit the Food Bank website to find a food pantry or mobile distribution near you.

"Montgomery County Food Bank is here for those affected today and in the difficult days to come. Thank you for standing with us and for your unwavering support. Together, we are stronger," said Marlow.
