Interfaith of The Woodlands seeks donations for seniors, children, and more for their Holiday Giving program
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Interfaith of The Woodlands has put out a call for help to the community to ensure a joyful holiday season for area kids, families, and seniors. Interfaith Holiday Giving needs donations to help bring joy and brighten the spirits of nearly 10,000 individuals in need this holiday season.
Their Holiday Giving programs provide families, children, and seniors with gifts and food to make their season special. More than 400 seniors are waiting to be adopted, and for many of them, the only holiday gift they will receive comes from the generosity and kindness of donors like Interfaith is seeking.
Beyond the Adopt-a-Senior and Adopt-a-Family programs, people can host a toy drive, or collect non-perishable food items for Interfaith's Food Pantry. In particular, simple gift cards are needed for the senior adults. Gift cards valued at $50 can be dropped off at Interfaith during normal business hours through November 26. Additionally, Interfaith has an Amazon Wish List in place to facilitate gift-buying decisions.
If you are interested in adopting a senior, please contact Laurie Oglesby at loglesby@woodlandsinterfaith.org. All donations can be made at https://woodlandsinterfaith.org/holidaygiving/.
