Interfaith of The Woodlands Launches Holiday Toy Drive Partnership with Local Fire Stations to Serve as Collection Points
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Interfaith of The Woodlands is pleased to announce the launch of a Holiday Toy Drive in partnership with The Woodlands Township Fire Department to support local families in need during the holiday season. Toys will be accepted at The Woodlands fire stations until December 15th.
Through this community-wide initiative, Interfaith aims to ensure that children in The Woodlands have the opportunity to experience the joy of the holiday season, regardless of their circumstances. Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted at designated fire station locations throughout The Woodlands, with the goal of collecting hundreds of toys to distribute to families in need.
The community is encouraged to support the toy drive by donating toys for children of all ages, with a special emphasis on donations for older children, who are often underrepresented in holiday giving. Suggested donations include educational toys, board games, sports equipment, art supplies, and books.
"We are incredibly grateful to partner with our local fire stations to bring the holiday spirit to families who may be struggling," said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. "These partnerships and the generosity of our community will make a tremendous difference in the lives of many our neighbors this holiday season."
All donations collected will be distributed by Interfaith of The Woodlands to families in need, ensuring that children across the community have gifts to open this holiday season. For over 50 years, Interfaith has provided critical programs and services to families and individuals in The Woodlands. Interfaith’s Holiday GIVING Program is a way to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy and magic of the holidays.
