We're in that sweeet spot of winter between freezes and storms. Take advantage of the relatively moderate weather to hit some of the great events throughout The Woodlands. Here's a list of some of our favorites.

Are your kids ready to kick off an exciting new season of soccer? Challenge Soccer Club is thrilled to announce that registration for the Spring Recreational Soccer Season is now open. Whether your child is a budding soccer star or just wants to have fun and learn the game, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved. Challenge Soccer Club believes that soccer is more than just a game – it’s a way to build confidence, develop teamwork, and foster a love for sports. Open to boys and girls of all levels: Whether your child is new to the sport or has been playing for years, their program is designed to accommodate and challenge players at every skill level.

ALL WEEK
The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) is proud to announce its first event of the year, ‘The Poetry of Gravity,’ a solo exhibition of the work of artist Martin Amorous. This thought-provoking exhibition will be displayed at TWAC’s exhibition space. An Opening Reception will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 p.m., inviting the public to meet the artist and explore his captivating creations. RSVP is encouraged.

Glide into the magic of the holiday season at The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center! Enjoy indoor ice skating at the 21,000 square-foot facility, located at the intersection of Six Pines and Lake Robbins, next to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Tuesday, January 14
The Woodlands Arts League presents Painting and Drawing for Adults and Older Teens with Tom LaRock, available three times: 10 a.m., 1 p.m., or 6 p.m. This class is intended for beginning, intermediate and advanced adults and older teens. Once the basic drawing exercises are completed students will then be encouraged to complete more advanced drawing and painting projects of their favorite subjects. Intermediate and advanced students will work on more challenging drawing and painting projects that may include drawing from reference photos and still life.

Children 10 and older are welcome to participate with an adult present. If your child is under 10, please reach out to the club so they can find the best solution to help your child learn the sport.
