ALL WEEK
Bring bikes in any condition to The Woodlands Township Environmental Services office at 8203 Millennium Forest Drive, located next to The Woodlands High School. During this special weeklong collection event all week long from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., staff can help you unload your unwanted bikes, which will be refurbished and donated to those in need or recycled if beyond repair. This bicycle takeback event is a collaboration between Bike The Woodlands Coalition, Recycled Cycles of Texas, and The Woodlands Township, and has collected more than 400 bikes to date!

Tuesday, January 7
Indulge in a delightful British tradition at The Tea Kettle Café, located in charming Old Town Spring. Their Afternoon Tea Service offers a light and elegant meal, perfect for special occasions or a leisurely afternoon. Adult guests can expect to be served treats on a beautiful tiered cake stand such as finger sandwiches, freshly baked scone, mini desserts, and a pot of premium tea; the Children’s Afternoon Tea is equally enchanting. Wednesday, January 8
We here at Woodlands Online can’t figure out how to play this new game called ‘pickleball’ without exploding the pickles. Fortunately, Ace Pickleball Club is hosting Free Pickleball 101 Clinic for New Players, where you can come check out the sport and meet new people at a free clinic led by one of their specialists. They provide paddles, balls, and a friendly instructor. You bring a positive attitude and be ready to have fun! Wear athletic clothes and clean athletic shoes. This clinic is intended for adults. Children 10 and older are welcome to participate with an adult present. If your child is under 10, please reach out to the club so they can find the best solution to help your child learn the sport.

Come to The Woodlands Children’s Museum today at 11 a.m. and be amazed by a visit from The Bee Lady and discover facts about bees while safely meeting a few in person! It’s the last night to enjoy a special holiday exhibit! Come experience City Place’s Annual Gingerbread Village where a trail of giant candy canes, lollipops, gumdrops, gingerbread men, and cookie trees, leading to a 16-foot high house and 12-foot tall windmill. Gingerbread Village is free to visit, there are no reservations or invitations. All ages are welcome, including dogs! After tonight, the village will be going away until the next holiday season.

Welcome to the Mitchell Family Game Room at the George Mitchell branch of the Montgomery County Library! Their large Meeting Room (Room 102( will be set up for some fun, family game time from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Children 12 and under must be with a parent or adult at all times while in the library.
