UPDATE: Three Arrested in Gang-Related Shooting and Robbery Spree Across Montgomery and Harris Counties

PORTER, TX -- Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit continued their investigation into the shooting incident that occurred on February 17, 2025. The shooting appears to be a gang related, retaliatory shooting, at a residence. Detectives were able to identify all potential suspects in reference to the incident, which resulted in the arrest of three individuals. These arrests were conducted with assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, Montgomery County Gang Unit, Texas Office of the Inspector General, Houston Police Department SWAT team, Houston Police Department Patrol Division, Harris County Sheriff’s Office VIPER team and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

Upon further investigation Detectives learned of more incidents committed the same day of the shooting. Immediately after the shooting, the suspects went to Harris County to commit a robbery, only to return to Montgomery County and commit yet another Robbery. Detectives contacted the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and secured warrants for all suspects for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The investigation into these incidents continues and further charges may be forthcoming. All three individuals are currently in the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 17, 2025, at about 3:00 PM, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 3 Deputies responded to a Deadly Conduct call near the 21800 block of Silver Oak Ct in Porter, TX.

A Deputy from Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables Office was nearby when he heard multiple gunshots being fired in the area. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrived at the scene to search for the suspect and found multiple bullet casings.

At this time, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives, along with Crime Scene Investigators, are on scene conducting their investigation with Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and this is believed to be an isolated incident.
