Meals on Wheels Montgomery County Welcomes De'Andre Guin, Sr., as Director of Engagement

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Meals on Wheels Montgomery County (MOWMC) proudly announces De'Andre Guin, Sr., as the new Director of Engagement. In this pivotal role, De'Andre will lead Human Resources, spearhead employee engagement initiatives, and implement strategies to develop staff skills while fostering a positive and empowering workplace culture. His responsibilities extend to ensuring that staff, donors, and volunteers feel valued and appreciated, enhancing their engagement with the organization. Additionally, De'Andre will work to strengthen community partnerships and increase public awareness of MOWMC's mission to support homebound seniors, further cultivating a sense of purpose and connection among all stakeholders.

De'Andre brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the organization. He served as MOWMC's Director of Transportation and Mobility Management from 2014 to 2017. Most recently, he worked as the Mobility Planner for the City of Conroe Transit Department, where he collaborated with his team to address transportation challenges for diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, seniors, veterans, and youth.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and 10 years in transportation, De'Andre has dedicated his career to improving the lives of others. As a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), he has worked extensively with individuals facing traumatic brain injuries, mental health disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and related conditions. His unique blend of expertise and compassion makes him an invaluable addition to the MOWMC leadership team.
