THE WOODLANDS, TX – For the sixth year, The Woodlands Christian Academy has extended an invitation to residents and businesspeople throughout The Woodlands to join them for a vibrant day of fun and community spirit at the 6th Annual Warrior Color Run, Saturday, March 29 starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Academy’s campus, 5800 Academy Way in The Woodlands.

Mark your calendars for March 29

With music and free food, the Color Run is a family-friendly activity for all ages where participants can run a 1K or 5K race. Spectators spray runners with bright, colorful powders throughout the course, covering them from head to toe in rainbow colors by the time they reach the finish line.

The run starts on the school’s 40-acre campus and weaves through W. G. Jones State Forest. More than 350 registered runners are expected to participate in the community-wide event. The day will start with music, activities, and breakfast. Snow cones will be served in The Grove immediately following the race.

“Our goal is to provide an opportunity for The Woodlands community to come together and enjoy good, family fun and fellowship. Net proceeds from the Warrior Color Run will benefit TWCA’s Athletics and Fine Arts programs,” said school representatives in a statement.

Organizers want participants to note that this is a fun run and is not a timed race; the Warrior Color Run cannot be used as a qualifying race. To register, go to https://www.twca.net/warrior-life/warrior-boosters and click on the Color Run tab.
