The Woodlands Triathlon Returns on May 10, 2025

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department proudly presents the annual Woodlands Triathlon, set to take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. at Northshore Park. As one of the premier multi-sport events in the region, this USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned race welcomes athletes of all skill levels, from beginners to nationally ranked triathletes.

This highly anticipated event will feature a field of 800 participants navigating a scenic and well-managed course. The race will conclude with a festive awards celebration, featuring live music, delicious food, beverages, and more.

Registration Information

Participants can register online. Refunds of 50% of the entry fee are available until April 11, 2025 (excluding Active.com processing fees). Refund processing may take up to three weeks. Requests should be sent via email to the event department.

Race Results & Awards

• Race results will be posted online no later than 5:00 p.m. on race day.

• Awards will be distributed onsite to top finishers in multiple categories, including overall male and female winners, masters winners (40+), and top age group finishers. Special awards include:

  • Randolph Parnell Award (Clydesdale, 50+ years)

  • Dr. Phelan Courage Award (last athlete to cross the finish line within the cut-off time)

  • Overall Relay Team Winners (Male, Female, and Coed)
