The John Cooper School Visual Arts Students Recognized Among Top 50 Horticulture Artists at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Congratulations to The John Cooper School visual arts students for earning recognition in the 2025 Horticulture Photography Category. We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible talent and creativity of our student winners who have earned a spot among the top 50 horticulture artists at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Their dedication and passion for blending nature and artistry have truly set them apart!
The contest calls upon artists to create something beautiful in the Rodeo’s Horticulture Competition. It is open to Texas residents between the ages of 8 and 18 and does not require participants to be members of a Texas 4-H Club or FFA Chapter. Categories include floral design, plant life, landscaping and photography.
Ms. Jennifer Schiebel, Visual Arts faculty, expressed her excitement: “I'm so pleased to share that five of our Visual Arts students were recognized among the Top 50 Horticulture artists at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! This is only Cooper's second year submitting, and for the second year in a row, five of our talented young artists made the list. It’s such an incredible honor to see their creativity and hard work celebrated on such a big stage!”
