The John Cooper School Robotics Club Dominates War4Worlds Competition

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The John Cooper School’s Robotics Club delivered an outstanding performance at the War4Worlds Robotics Competition in Texas City last weekend, demonstrating exceptional technical skill, innovation, and teamwork. Both teams—A-Team and B-Team—earned impressive achievements, securing their spots at Regionals in two weeks.

Both Cooper Teams Qualify for Regionals in Washington DC

The A-Team won the Innovator Award for their cutting-edge engineering, problem-solving, and creative approach to robotics. Meanwhile, the B-Team showcased strategic precision and resilience, winning the Championship Game in an electrifying final match. Their success proves both teams are ready for top-tier competition.

In a historic first for The John Cooper School, the A and B Teams competed as allies during the qualification rounds, strengthening their teamwork and competitive edge.

“This is an incredible achievement for our robotics teams,” exclaimed Ken Gorman, Robotics Faculty Sponsor and Computer Science teacher at The John Cooper School. “Both teams put their creativity, technical skills, and teamwork on full display. Winning both the Innovator Award and the Championship Game shows just how much dedication and passion they bring to STEM at Cooper. We couldn’t be prouder, and we can’t wait to see them take on Regionals!”

The War4Worlds Robotics Competition brings together top teams to test their engineering and programming skills in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. With Regionals on the horizon, the Cooper Dragons remain focused and determined to build on their success as they push toward even greater achievements.
