The John Cooper Middle School Earns Top Honors in Local Competition

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The John Cooper School’s Middle School students continue to push the boundaries of STEM achievement, earning an impressive third-place finish at the Science Bowl last Friday, February 7. Competing against 16 elite teams, these students demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, teamwork, and scientific expertise, reinforcing Cooper’s commitment to fostering the next generation of innovators.

Students Clinch Third Place in STEM Science Bowl


The Cooper Science Bowl team, consisting of Arjun Bansal ‘29, Noah Treadwell ‘29, Om Rajesh ‘29, Matthew Sturm ’29, and Dhruv Desai ‘29, fought their way through an intense series of rounds to reach the semi-finals, proving their mastery of science and problem-solving. Their strong performance highlights the School’s focus on providing students with advanced opportunities in STEM education.

"Our Dragons continue to excel in high-level STEM competitions, proving that Cooper is a place where curiosity, innovation, and academic passion thrive," said Bridget Guisinger, Middle School Science teacher. "Their success at the Science Bowl and their willingness to compete in multiple events highlight the strength of our STEM programs and the bright futures ahead for these young scholars."
