THE WOODLANDS, TX --

Join the Effort to Keep Your Community Safer! The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services invites residents to participate in Dog Walker Watch – Yappy Hour on various dates in April.

These special events are designed to engage dog walkers in crime prevention efforts. This program trains dog walkers to serve as extra eyes and ears for law enforcement by recognizing and reporting suspicious activity while out on their regular routes.

Dog walkers are uniquely positioned to notice activity in their neighborhoods, making them valuable partners in community policing. Through Dog Walker Watch, participants will learn how to identify unusual behavior, what to look for, and how to properly report it to local law enforcement agencies.
