The Woodlands earns an ‘A-plus’ ranking from Niche, voted 2nd best city in America

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Niche, the market leader in connecting colleges and schools with students and families and a top voice in the rankings of family-friendly communities nationwide, recently released its list of top cities in which to live in America. The Woodlands ranked number two, with an ‘A-plus’ ranking.
Several criteria were considered in the rankings. Only Naperville, Illinois topped The Woodlands as the number one city in which to live; the only other Texas city to make the list, Plano, came in at number six. The aggregate final grade resulted from the following gradings: in the categories of public schools, good for families, and jobs, the grade was A-plus; in diversity, health and fitness, and outdoor activities, the grade was A-minus; in housing, nightlife, and weather, the grade was B-plus; and in cost of living and commute, the grade was B. The grade for crime and safety was unavailable.
