HS Football: Jermaine Bishop Jr. Racks Up Honors Through OT7 Season
DALLAS, TX -- Willis’ Jermaine Bishop Jr. has spent his time in the Overtime OT7 League racking up multiple honors through the season's early going.
As a member of Defcon United, Bishop has carved a solid piece of the action, even with the amount of equally high-caliber talent on display throughout the league.
Teams have been composed of some of the best talent in the country. Four- and five-star players have to perform at their highest level possible, with the sheer number of eyes drawn to the heavily social media-based league.
Bishop Jr. has undoubtedly proven his worth by earning MVP honors based on his day-one performance, which he followed with a top-two performance during week three.
While Defcon United has struggled as a team in the intense Platinum Division, Bishop Jr. has become one of the team’s most trusted weapons.
The Wildkat still has another season of high school football to be played on top of a major decision for where he will take his next steps. He currently sits with 24 offers on the table, according to 247 Sports, with teams like Texas, USC, Oklahoma, Houston, and Texas A&M near the top of his list.
Whichever team does get a commitment from Bishop Jr. will receive a stud of an athlete that has a unique toolset which equips him for play on either side of the ball.
