Early voting for the May Joint Election starts Tuesday

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Tuesday, May 5 is Election Day for several municipal offices and propositions. However, early voting for this joint election starts this Tuesday, April 22. Early voting will run between then and April 29. Polls will be open each day except Sunday, April 27.
Benefits for early voting include the fact that you can vote at any of the assigned polling locations in Montgomery County; on Election Day itself you are limited to casting your ballot at your own precinct polling location.
Hours are Tuesday, April 22 - Saturday, April 26, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Monday, April 28 - Tuesday, April 29, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. The following polling locations are available:
- North Montgomery County Community Center, 600 Gerald Street, Willis 77378 – Community Room 102 and 103
- Lone Star Community Center (Not the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe), 2500 Lone Star Parkway, Montgomery 77356 – Community Room 103 and 104
- West Montgomery County Community Development Center, 31355 Friendship Drive, Magnolia 77355 – Green Room
- East Montgomery County Fair Association, Building 21675A McCleskey Road, New Caney 77357 – Main Room
- South County Community Center, 2235 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands 77380 – Room 102
- Central Library (Main Early Voting Polling Place - Limited Ballots), 104 I-45 North, Conroe 77301 – Large Meeting Room
- Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center, 1300 Riley Fuzzel Road, Spring 77386 – Community Center
- East Montgomery County Community Development Center, 16401 First Street, Suite 100, Splendora 77372 – Hayden and Dunn Conference Rooms
- Magnolia Event Center Annex, 11731 FM 1488, Magnolia 77354 – Main Room
- Special forms of Early Voting and Ballot by Mail ONLY at Election Central, 9159 Airport Road, Conroe 77303 – Foyer
Of particular note on the ballot is the $420 million road bond. Additionally, there will be numerous school district trustee and proposition selections, city council and mayoral elections, MUD directors and propositions, and municipal propositions, depending on your residential address.
