NEW CANEY, TX -- Montgomery County Sheriff's Office assigned to District 3 Patrol Division investigated a theft at Walmart near the 20300 block of US Highway 59 in New Caney, where several vending machines were stolen. District 3 Detectives assisted in the investigation and upon viewing surveillance videos, learned that the same suspect had been involved in multiple other thefts of vending machines across the Conroe, Spring, and Houston areas.

With the assistance of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Real Time Crime Center Analysts, the suspect was identified as 52-year-old Clinton Arnold from The Woodlands. On August 29, Detectives obtained a search warrant for Arnold’s residence in which a total of 10 coin-operated machines valued over $35,000 were recovered from the location.

Arnold was subsequently arrested for Felony Theft and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
