The 2023 Memorial Herman Ironman Ends in Thrilling Finishes
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The 2023 Memorial Herman Ironman took place on Saturday in The Woodlands, Texas, which is part of The Americas Championship. With over 2,000 athletes and even more volunteers, the Ironman brought huge crowds, elite athletes, and thrilling finishes.
With less than 30 seconds separating the top three men’s finishers, Rudy von Berg of the United States finished just before Robert Wilkowiecki and Matthew Marquardt.
The female finishers were a bit more staggered but taking home first place was Kat Matthews of Great Britain while Maja Stage Nielsen and Jocelyn McCauley, last year’s winner, finished just minutes behind.
