Eight students from The John Cooper School were honored with this prestigious recognition:

The Rotary Student of the Year program celebrates students who exemplify the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self,” and demonstrates a commitment to personal excellence and positive community impact.

“We are grateful for our partnership with The Rotary Club of The Woodlands, and I am incredibly proud of our students who go above and beyond serving our community — from volunteering their time and giving back to others through meaningful and selfless acts of kindness and service. These eight Cooper Dragons exemplify responsible leaders and citizens, and their commitment to making a difference in this community is inspiring. We are proud of their dedication to service and to others,” said Dr. Stephen Popp, Head of School at The John Cooper School.

The John Cooper School is an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory day school. The School's mission is to provide a challenging education in a caring environment to a diverse group of select students, enabling them to become critical and creative thinkers, effective communicators, responsible citizens and leaders, and lifelong learners.
